Eleven members of the Alamogordo, New Mexico Road Runner Chapter of the Red Hat Society were set to take a day trip to Ruidoso Downs Race Track. However, it still being the Monsoon Season, Mother Nature sent buckets of rain to New Mexico and not wanting to drive 50 miles through the mountains, we opted for going to the Alamogordo Golf Course restaurant, the 19th Hole for lunch. We figured with soggy grounds very few golfers would be out and about. Would you believe they were holding their annual City Tournament?
The restaurant staff graciously accommodated us and we had so much FUN just doing lunch for a change. In fact, I was having so much FUN celebrating my birthday, that I forgot all about the camera in my purse and only remembered as we were leaving. There were still eight of us there so only got a couple of shots to share.
