Red Hatters Picnic at Aguirre Springs

Saturday, May 27, 2017

Members of the New Mexico Roadrunner Chapter of the Red Hat Society in Alamogordo, New Mexico carpooled to Aguirre Springs Campgrounds in the Organ Mountains near Las Cruces, New Mexico for a picnic lunch and to play ladder ball. This place really is high up in the mountains and the view is phenomenal.

We had our picnic lunch first because after driving 45 miles, the girls were all hungry. Then, we played ladder ball which is such a FUN game that just about anyone can play. We had three birthday girls, Lu who wasn't able to be with us in April, Kimberly Gugliotta (our new member from Tucson) and VQ Donna Williams who celebrated her 85th in May.

Kimberly (far right on the photo before this one) took one with Carla Kerr in it.
We had a super FUN time even though it was a bit breezy and everyone got some exercise and fresh air without even thinking about it playing ladder ball. There were a lot of families camping and we were lucky to find a good spot.

This is all I have to say for now.
