The Wild West Women of Weatherford, Texas got together at Queen Of Gaudy Gabigail's home in her upstairs Red Hat party room for lunch and exchanging Valentines on February 16, 2011. We brought "white elephant" gifts and played the game "Left & Right". Since we didn't have something to read with a Valentine theme, Carla Kerr read a Christmas story about the Wright family and their were a lot of the words "Wright, right and left" in the story. The object is to pass the gift you are holding around the circle according the the reader's pronouncement of "right or left." It was a lot of fun and the gifts were really quite lovely.
Joyce Bruton, as usual, made a gorgeous Valentine Cake for the occasion and the food was delightful as always with this group.
One of the gals got really brave and showed off her celtic cross tattoo. (See Photos)

Doug and I, my son Russ and wife Kelley went together to see "Til Beth Do Us Part", a very funny Jones Hope Wooten comedy about relationships at Theater Off The Square in Weatherford, Texas. However, before the theater, we went to Whistle Hill Cafe first to enjoy a delicious lunch making it a well rounded Sunday.
The actors were quite good in their roles and had excellent comedic timing.
This is all I have to say for now.
