Red Hatters in Alamogordo Twilight Christmas Parade

Before I start with events occurring since November 1, 2013 I must apologize to all for being so far behind. My darling husband, Doug, has been ill as have I and the blog was far from my mind for a while. I'm back now and there is so much to report that it will be out of sync date-wise so forgive me and hopefully enjoy!

December 14, 2013

The New Mexico Roadrunner Chapter of the Red Hat Society participated in the "Twilight Christmas Parade" sponsored by the Alamogordo, New Mexico Chamber of Commerce. As a chapter, we created a huge red and purple hat to go atop a Nissan Maxima and we decorated Christmas aprons to wear along with lighted Santa hats. The photos tell the story of our part in the parade.

The parade theme was "Christmas Around the World" which we somehow missed so we did our usual Red Hat thing and had a lot of fun with it, but lookout next year when we'll be more alert!

Thanks to Doug for the photos.

This all I have to say for now.
